Sequence has been exclusively retained and is currently seeking a dynamic and capable process engineer for one of the nations largest and most respected metal, alloy and specialty powder producers. With operations globally and in California’s central valley, the organization is tasking us very aggressively to find them a dynamic and able individual to enhance product processes and contribute to applications as well as drive production and manufacturing efficiency.
The organization utilizes a variety of atomizers and atomizing units to produce millions of pounds of spherical metal powders each year. Their powders are used in everything from mainstream thermal spray propellant and spray applications to customer additive manufacturing, cold spray, HVOF, brazing, decoy flares, electronic and thermal management materials.
Today, the group is seeking a dynamic and talented mid- to senior level engineering to join the group and contribute to overall operations. Ideally, this would with an individual capable of undertaking new process design, production and maintenance resource allocation as well as contributing to R&D Lab efforts and modeling and tuning of atomization process to maximize productive and yield. While entering at a process engineer, the role also has responsibility for joint management of manufacturing operations aspects and is in line for promotion to a more senior management role within the organization.
While previous metals powder, atomization and metallurgical skills and experience are desired, any capable engineer with ability to grow and tackle the role would be considered for the position. The key is the drive and capability to adapt to the market niche and contribute actively to the organization.
The ideal candidate would have at least 3 - 7+ years or more experience with an undergraduate or advanced degree in mechanical, manufacturing, metals engineering or related field. This could be the perfect role for an entry level individual looking to find a long-term home with a growing and stable organization. It could also possibly be an opportunity for a talented mid-level professional looking to gain extensive experience and progress into a leadership opportunity.
